WHAT'S NEW AT THE SANTA BARBARA VINTNERS SPRING FESTIVAL?

In its 35th year, the Santa Barbara Vintners New Release Spring Weekend is four days of wine, food and fun throughout Santa Barbara Wine Country Thursday, April 20 - Sunday, April 23.

The highlight of the weekend is the New Release Festival Grand Tasting on Saturday, April 22 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Early Entry and Connoisseurs Club at 12:00 p.m.) at the beautiful River View Park in Buellton, the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country. Enjoy new release wines from participating member wineries; food sampling from more than twenty food purveyors; live music; wine and culinary demonstrations; silent auction; and free parking all included.

The Saturday morning Santa Barbara Wine Seminar from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott, minutes from the Festival Grand Tasting, will feature a new release in-depth tasting, and optional lunch, with a wine maker panel moderated by renowned wine writer, Elaine Brown.

Join us on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. for the Big Bottle Bash at K'Syrah, a new special event venue in downtown Solvang, featuring large format wines brought by guests and winery representatives paired with a delicious family-style dinner. In the style of a La Paulee, guests are invited to bring their own bottles to share.

Want to visit up to twelve tasting rooms on an all-inclusive wine tasting pass?  Get a Vintners Visa Wine Country Tasting Pass for unique and complimentary offerings at your choice of twelve participating tasting rooms from Thursday - Sunday. Typically 25 - 40 wineries and tasting rooms participate in this program.

Throughout the four day weekend many wineries host their own events, including open houses, wine maker dinners, vineyard walks, and barrel tastings.
